AUDIO FICTION
Driven by a personal love of satire, sci-fi and the surreal, I have amassed a wide range of sound design and editing experience on audio dramas and fiction podcasts.
A selection that highlights the range of my experience can be found on the Soundcloud player below:

A STRANGER IN A STRANGE PLACE
Commissioned by the National Archives and based on its collections, this one off audio drama from Tamasha Theatre explores the repatriation of people from the British West Indies in 1920s Liverpool. I was responsible for sound engineering during recording at the National Theatre sound studios, as well as sound design and editing.
Separately, as part of Tamasha’s developing directors project, I helped ten directors deliver their first audio drama through audio engineering and sound design.
DEM TIMES

Dem Times is a 6-part young adult comedy-drama following the re-education of British-born troublemaker, Samuel Adjei, in a Ghanaian boarding school. I was responsible for sound engineering, sound design and postproduction, with the series nominated at the 2021 Ambies and British Podcast Awards. The pilot was aired as part of the BBC Radio 4's New Creatives series.
ONE OH EIGHT: DUMBSTRUCK ON BAZELY STREET
One half of a project to deliver twin geolocated audio dramas, One Oh Eight: Dumbstruck On Bazely Street tells the story of one man's surreal journey on London’s 108 bus as he confronts demons from his past. Working closely with writer and director NG Bristow, I was responsible for sound design and engineering during recording sessions. The final mix made for a unique sonic challenge, blending on location binaural recordings (pictured top of page) with studio dialogue, all whilst bringing a number of hallucinatory elements onto the bus ride.
COARSE'S LAST DAY
After 17 years of one party rule, President Nicholas Coarse’s administration is crumbling amid chaotic scenes of popular protest. First Lady Helena is not relinquishing power without a fight, but is anyone still willing to help the hapless pair?
Written, directed and produced by me as part of a university assignment in 2019, Coarse’s Last Day is part satire and part historical adaptation of the Romanian Revolution, based in an American dystopia.
